about

I saw a little boy at King Soupers. He must have only been 2 or 3 and he was with his parents next to the claw game. He walked up to it, touched one of the buttons and said to his mom, "Look! A fortune button!" The theme music for the claw game along with that kids innocence inspired this song. Kids senses of the infinite are amazing and quite different than adults. Kids know that there is ample enough of everything to go around, whereas adults are always scrounging for money and trying to save some of it. Anyway it was such a beautiful thing for a baby to do, and seeing the delight on his face was really a magical thing. And the timing couldn't have been better since I was already in a Christmassy mood seeing all the decorations in the store. If that kid ever came upon an actual fortune do you think he'd even care? Do you think he'd blow it all on expensive things; or do you think he wouldn't give a shit about how powerful he could appear with it, and instead divide it among those he cared about? I recommend everyone do that. Do or say something kind for others this holiday season.
