This song is dedicated to my friend Tomas who just moved up to the North side, and for Noel and her baby.
Seeing new life always makes me think about my own life and served as inspiration for this song. I've also been watching LOST a lot lately, which has a character named John Locke who's always talking about miracles, things happening by accident vs. fate, and destiny. It made me think about life and death and what happens after you die. Here's my thought: when your body expires, "you" become luck. "You" then try to understand the universe from this viewpoint and when you have enough knowledge about it and are truly one with it, your spirit is re-born and the same thing happens over and over again for all eternity.
Speaking of the infinite, I've also been thinking a lot lately about imaginary, ephemeral things like music, on a parallel universe with real, concrete things like movies, and how ephemeral things like beauty can be organized into real things like people and visual art. And if recorded, can hypothetical statements manifest themselves into actual phenomena like a ghost crossing into life?
Parallel universes are always expanding. The universe has a great power. To tap into it will make you truly free in life. There is infinite hope, money, ideas, matter, and choices in this life.
The universe is kind of like the opposite of a rubber band. A rubber band has the tendency to shrink after you stretch it out. The universe gets bigger when you stretch it in (create friction). The more friction you create in the universe by generating ideas that clash and intersect, the bigger it gets in the literal sense (as in outer space), and abstract sense (different dimensions) of the word.
Music is the universe. It is a code; just like x+2y=14, or the Spanish language.
To make anything you want go from smaller to bigger, ($, friends, sex) just like how the universe wants to go from smaller to bigger, lets just take an example of the words "smaller" and "bigger" and try to write a code for them. (Something that will make the word "smaller" into the word "bigger").
1.) remove middle letter of 1st word.
2.) S=B M=I A=G1 L=G2 E=E R=R
It makes me wonder if there is a code somewhere out there that can make world peace. Like WP=Z+4i or something.
We have a charge and potential, we're just missing a code. Like maybe the idea of paying it forward for example. :)
