about

Butchering The Classics

I take a Tarantino-esque approach to musical history; expounding on and re-writing classic tunes to give them a new edge through improvisation, breathing new character into pieces like 'The x-files theme', (Which features the iconic repeating four notes but in minute variances). The pieces were all improvised based on my crude simplistic understanding of them. I didn't really study them because I wanted them to be as fresh as possible when I played them.

I hope you enjoy it!
